Brazosport Regional names Jeffress CFO

Brazosport Regional Health System, Lake Jackson, Texas, named Chuck Jeffress to succeed Daniel Smith as chief financial officer. Michael Barger, an interim executive with Quorum Health Resources, was appointed the 148-bed hospital’s interim executive after Smith stepped down in May, a Brazosport spokesman said.

The new chief financial officer of Oregon Health & Science University has resigned after just two weeks on the job, citing personal reasons. Larry Revill came to OHSU, in Portland, from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he had worked since 1991. He started on Oct. 15.
