Thank you to all who attended the 2014 Health Care Hall of Fame Gala
In 1988, Modern Healthcare created the Healthcare Hall of Fame to honor individuals who have made significant lifelong contributions to the healthcare field. This year Modern Healthcare inducted three industry veterans into the Health Care Hall of Fame before a crowd of nearly 400 in Chicago on Sunday, March 23, 2014.
Fred Brown, who helped engineer the creation of St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare; John Griffith, an author and professor emeritus of healthcare management; and Yoshi Honkawa, a longtime government relations executive with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The recipients credited their success to colleagues, mentors, family and professionals across the industry who work to improve healthcare.
