DaVita to buy DSI Renal for $690 million

Renal-care provider DaVita has announced plans to acquire Nashville-based DSI Renal for $690 million. The two parties have entered into a definitive agreement, according to a DaVita news release, and the transaction is expected to close sometime in the second or third quarter of 2011.
