HHS contracts aimed at boosting preparedness

Hoping to ramp up the country's ability to make vaccines and medicines to counteract a bioterrorism or pandemic threat, HHS announced the government had awarded contracts worth $400 million to three organizations for each to establish a new center to develop and manufacture remedies.
