Appeals court strikes down individual mandate
In another appeals-court ruling on challenges to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta struck down the individual mandate but allowed the rest of the sweeping law to stand. The individual mandate is considered the linchpin of the health reform law. Pictured: Sen.
