David Cox has been appointed CFO of Alameda Health System, a safety net system in Oakland, Calif., effective July 14.
Most recently, Cox, 60, served as CFO of Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif. He also was CFO of St. Mary's Health System in Waterbury, Conn., and CFO of Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt. Altogether, he has approximately 30 years of healthcare finance experience.
Cox replaces Richard Gianello, who served as interim CFO since July 2013.
