Capital Clinical Integrated Network, a collaborative of Washington-based Medicaid managed-care organizations and healthcare and behavioral health providers, and HEALTHEC, a Piscataway, N.J.-based provider of health information technology systems and services, will beta test the accreditation process, according to an EHNAC news release.

The program will assess “network infrastructure and exchange connectivity in the areas of confidentiality and privacy, technology processes and security in compliance with federal healthcare legislative mandates including HIPAA, HITECH Omnibus and others,” according to the statement.

More information about the program is available on the EHNAC website. The program is expected to begin open enrollment in October, according to a company spokesman.
