HP Enterprise Services said the $147 million contract with the state Department of Health and Social Services’ Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance also will enable providers to receive prior authorizations, check eligibility and submit claims online through a Web-based portal.

In addition, HP will host the application and provide maintenance and disaster recovery services, the statement said.
