Lurie Children's promotes Blaustein to CFO

Ron Blaustein has been appointed CFO of Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, effective June 1.

Blaustein, 43, replaced Paula Noble, who retired after 18 years at Lurie Children's. Blaustein has been with the pediatric hospital since 2006 and has served as associate CFO since 2010. Before that, he held various strategic financial planning roles at PwC and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Lurie Children's is the pediatric teaching arm for Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine. The 288-bed hospital is also the largest pediatric provider in the region, with a medical staff of more than 1,200 physicians and $760 million of revenue in 2013.
