Benjamin Carter, executive VP of finance for CHE Trinity Health
, is now also CFO of the Livonia, Mich.-based system.
Carter, who has more than 25 years of healthcare finance experience, joined Trinity Health in 2010 as senior VP and CFO after serving as executive VP and COO at Detroit Medical Center. Since May 2013, Carter has been serving as executive VP of finance for the new system that was created when Newtown Square, Pa.-based Catholic Health East merged last year with Trinity Health.
