Boston Medical Center named two new executives to its team—Nancy Gaden as senior VP and chief nursing officer and Dr. Alastair Bell as COO.
Gaden, whose appointment was effective March 10, comes to Boston Medical Center from Hallmark Health System, Medford, Mass, where she served as system VP of patient care services and CNO.
Bell, who is not new to Boston Medical Center, first joined the private not-for-profit facility in 2012. He has been serving as senior VP for operations and strategy until officially taking on the COO role in January.
“Nancy and Alastair have a proven track record as exemplary healthcare executives,” Boston Medical Center President and CEO Kate Walsh said in a news release. “Their experience and leadership will help us operate as efficiently as possible while maintaining our unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality of care to all of our patients.”Follow Rachel Landen on Twitter: @MHrlanden
