Adventist Health, the Roseville, Calif.-based system, appointed Scott Reiner as president
. Reiner will succeed Robert Carmen, who plans to retire, after a transition period that ends March 31.
Reiner is currently the system's executive VP and COO, a position he has held since 2010. His previous leadership roles with the system also have included CEO of Glendale (Calif.) Adventist Medical Center, its largest hospital.
His age was not available at deadline.
Carmen, 67, announced his retirement
