Hospitals are sued for not sending bills to insurers

Jonathon Layden was once confident that if he were ever injured, he could count on his health insurance to help pay his medical bills. But after he was patched up following an auto accident in 2011, Research Medical Center didn't submit his bill to his Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance.
