Healthcare facility design is about far more than creating a modern, attractive building. Maximum functionality for professional staff and an interior environment that's truly conducive to healing have become key priorities in healthcare architecture.
The mission of Modern Healthcare's annual Design Awards competition is to recognize facilities that measure up to those benchmarks through excellence in design and planning.
Modern Healthcare is now accepting nominations for its 28th annual Design Awards program. The competition is open only to registered architects. All types and sizes of patient-care-related facilities are eligible, built or unbuilt. Nominated facilities can be in the U.S., a U.S. territory or another country.
Submissions must be made electronically. No paper submissions are permitted. Visit
modernhealthcare.com/designawards for instructions on how to apply.
A nonrefundable fee of $499 is required with each submission. The deadline for all nominations is June 14.
Recipients will be notified before Sept. 16, when the winning facilities will be profiled in a special section of Modern Healthcare.
