iMedicor, a healthcare communications company based in Nanuet, N.Y., announced it closed on two all-stock deals valued at a combined $1.2 million.

iMedicor acquired HITS Consulting Group, a New York-based electronic health record consulting company, and data mining company ClariDIS Corp., Cape Cod, Mass., in separate all-stock deals, each valued at $600,000, said Rick Eisenberg, a spokesman for HITS Consulting.

iMedicor named Henry Denis, CEO of HITS Consulting, to the vacant position of president, effective immediately. Joshua Brimdyr, founder, president and chief technical officer for ClariDIS, succeeded John Walber as iMedicor's chief operating officer. Walber left the company this month.

iMedicor announced it promoted Robert Millar to chief information officer and senior VP of business development from his role as VP of sales and business development.

The company also named Kevin Giles chief technical officer, according to a news release announcing the appointments. Previously, Giles was CTO for iPennMD, a digital pen transcription company that iMedicor acquired in January.

Ages for Denis, Brimdyr, Millar and Giles were unavailable at deadline.
