Hilfiger named president of Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital

Janie Hilfiger has been named president of Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, Pa., effective Feb. 1.

Hilfiger, 54, who started as a staff nurse at Soldiers and Sailors, is currently chief nursing executive and has held the post for 12 years, according to a news release. She will succeed Jan Fisher, who has been named COO at Susquehanna Health System, Williamsport, Pa. Fisher served as president for 16 years.
