Health Dialog promotes Mandel to CEO

Health Dialog, a Boston-based developer of population health-management analytics and consulting services, has promoted Dr. Robert Mandel to CEO from executive VP for market and business development.

Mandel replaces James Tugendhat, who will relocate to London and lead parent company Bupa's global healthcare partnership strategy.

Mandel has served since May 2011 in his current executive VP role, according to a Health Dialog news release. He previously was senior VP of healthcare services at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Tennessee and VP of healthcare services at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts. His age was unavailable at deadline.
