Neil Brandmaier has been hired as the new senior VP of information technology and CIO at Capital District Physicians Health Plan, Albany, N.Y., a not-for-profit, physician-founded health plan.

Brandmaier, who declined to provide his age, replaces Linda Navarra. He will "manage the implementation of managed-care information systems and monitor all applications to ensure that they are cost-effective, capable of rapid response to continually changing needs, and aligned with the strategic and operational goals of CDPHP," according to a CDPHP news release.
