Wholesale prices at acute-care hospitals increased 0.2% in November after a 0.9% rise the prior month, according to preliminary numbers from the
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Producer Price Index.
For the year ended in November, acute-care hospital prices climbed 2.7% compared with 2.6% the prior year.
Physician-office prices declined 0.1% last month following a 0.2% gain in October, the Producer Price Index preliminary figures show.
For the year that ended in November, physician office prices increased 0.8% compared with 1.4% the prior year.
