Presence Health, the Chicago-area system formed after last year's merger between Provena Health, Mokena, Ill., and Resurrection Health Care, Chicago, has promoted Anthony Filer to CFO.

Filer, 57, was named Presence's COO last year. He joined Provena as CFO in 2002, and Provena named him senior VP in 2006, then COO in 2011. Filer replaces John Orsini at Presence. Orsini had been the CFO at Resurrection since 2010. The 48-year-old resigned to take the CFO post at Cadence Health, Winfield, Ill. That system formed after the merger of Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield and Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Ill.

Presence announced this fall it would be moving its headquarters to Chicago.
