What rational American wouldn't vote for free services from the government? The healthcare industry is becoming more and more dependent on OPM (other people's money, pronounced opium). We have become convinced that core problems are being addressed when, in fact, it is merely an illusion made possible by unsustainable spending.
Yes, the OPM high is fantastic, until you run out of OPM.
