CareCloud names Catalano VP of operations

CareCloud, a Miami-based practice management, electronic health-record, revenue cycle and medical billing software company, hired Ralph Catalano to the new position of VP of operations.
Catalano, 55, previously was VP of client development at Athenahealth, where he has worked since 2004, according to a CareCloud news release.
He is expected to start Dec. 3 and will report to Albert Santalo, chairman and CEO of CareCloud, according to the release.
In August, CareCloud announced that it had hired Edwin Miller as its new VP of product management, overseeing the company's electronic health-record and mobile-health products.
