Corrections and clarifications: RIATA recall mischaracterized

  • St. Jude Medical recalled the Riata and Riata ST leads, which are used to connect implantable cardioverter defibrillators to cardiac tissue. A story on p. 12 of the Oct. 29 issue (“Alternative heart therapy”) mischaracterized the recall.
