John Evans was named president and CEO of Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Montpelier, the state's designated health information exchange and federally designated regional extension center.
Evans most recently was president of the consulting firm Strategic Alliance Advisors, which does business as s2a, according to a
VITL news release.
"I am very impressed with John's background in HIE operations and health information technology," Chuck Podesta, a VITL board member and CIO at Fletcher Allen Health Care, said in the release. "He has worked with HIEs around the country to make them successful and knows what it takes to create a HIE that is sustainable for the long haul," he said.
