Presence Health plans to move its headquarters to 200 S. Wacker in the Loop, the company and city announced this morning.

The move will put 200 workers in the same place, according to City Hall.

"A downtown location is central to the agencies and businesses with whom we frequently interact and furthers our goals to provide broader access to community health care," Presence President and CEO Sandra Bruce said in a statement from the city.

Presence Health was formed in the merger last year of Mokena-based Provena Health and Chicago-based Resurrection Health Care. The current corporate offices are in Mokena and on the Northwest Side.

An executive for J. F. McKinney & Associates, which handles leasing at 200 S. Wacker, declined to comment this morning.

200 S. Wacker is a 754,750-square-foot building owned by a venture including Sam Zell's Equity Group Investments.
