Stordy named president of Golden Living division

Golden Living, Plano, Texas, has promoted David Stordy to president of its Golden LivingCenters division, where he will be responsible for its 304 skilled-nursing facilities.

Stordy, 45, was previously senior VP of operations for Golden LivingCenters' eastern region. The new position represents the company's move to create a new structure that consolidates two regional divisions, according to a spokeswoman.

Before joining Golden Living, Stordy was senior VP of the northeast division of SunBridge Healthcare. He has also served as southeast regional senior VP and a director of operations at Kindred Healthcare.

Golden Living operates post-acute and long-term-care facilities, including rehabilitation, hospice, home-care and skilled-nursing facilities.
