Golden Living, Plano, Texas, has promoted David Stordy to president of its Golden LivingCenters division, where he will be responsible for its 304 skilled-nursing facilities.

Golden Living, Plano, Texas, has promoted David Stordy to president of its Golden LivingCenters division, where he will be responsible for its 304 skilled-nursing facilities.

Stordy, 45, was previously senior VP of operations for Golden LivingCenters' eastern region. The new position represents the company's move to create a new structure that consolidates two regional divisions, according to a spokeswoman.

]]>Before joining Golden Living, Stordy was senior VP of the northeast division of SunBridge Healthcare. He has also served as southeast regional senior VP and a director of operations at Kindred Healthcare.

Golden Living operates post-acute and long-term-care facilities, including rehabilitation, hospice, home-care and skilled-nursing facilities.
