Mrs. Cook was so cool
everyone began to drool
Fort Worth had the vision
and the right tools.
In 2007, Rick Merrill came along
he pulled us all together
with “The Promise” it was better
that's why we sing our song.
Today Cook Children's
is a part of history
serving our community
and it all started with a Big Bang!
Through hard work and vision
more lives have been saved
we all took a leap of faith
and we shined.
Our patients really love us
they're always glad to see us
set in motion
by the same Big Bang!

we need to every day
