In a video news interview from Charlotte, N.C., the site of the Democratic National Convention, Premier healthcare alliance President and CEO Susan DeVore says hospitals and health systems are committed to finding ways to transform healthcare delivery no matter which party wins the White House and Congress in November. She acknowledges the uncertainty over the election and the subsequent future of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, but says that uncertainty is a hurdle, not a roadblock to change.

Modern Healthcare named DeVore No. 73 on its list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare for 2012.
