Members of National Nurses United and a crowd of thousands converged on Chicago's Daley Plaza May 18 to make a stand against Wall Street profits as the city prepared to host the NATO summit May 20-21. The rally originally was planned to coincide with a Chicago meeting of leaders from Group of Eight nations, which was moved held instead at Camp David. NNU President RoseAnn DeMoro called the turnout a "a phenomenal demonstration of the frustration that's happening in society."
