Henry Ford Health System President and CEO Nancy Schlichting was in Washington this past week to accept the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. She spoke with Modern Healthcare's Jessica Zigmond on April 16 at the National Press Club about system operations pending the U.S. Supreme Court's anticipated summer ruling on healthcare reform, Henry Ford Health System's "No Harm Campaign," and why the system has no immediate plans to become an accountable care organization.
