Long Island system hires McManus for CEO post

Catholic Health Services of Long Island (N.Y.) named Lawrence McManus to succeed Richard Sullivan Jr. (PDF) as president and CEO.

Sullivan, board chairman for the Rockville Centre, N.Y., health system, served as interim CEO, Catholic Health Services said in a news release. McManus’ appointment is effective April 16, a spokeswoman said.

McManus joins Catholic Health Services from St. Raphael Healthcare System, New Haven, Conn., where he has served as senior vice president, COO and CFO.
