Medical Transcription Billing Corp., Somerset, N.J., has
acquired United Physicians Management Services, Winston Salem, N.C.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, said Stephen Snyder, president of Medical Transcription Billing, a privately held healthcare information technology company. United Physicians Management Services, a billing and practice management company, also was privately held. Snyder said the deal was the
latest in a series of acquisitions and would expand the company's presence in North Carolina and its anesthesia and pain management specialty.
