Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital has made two nursing-related executive appointments, including the promotion of Janet Davis to the job of senior VP and chief nursing officer at the hospital.
Davis, 52, formerly was VP of acute care at the hospital,
a news release from Tampa General says (PDF). The new job is effective immediately. Her predecessor in the CNO role was Kathi Sengin Katz. Tampa General also announced the appointment of Veronica Martin, 41, to the job of VP and associate CNO. Martin will retain her responsibilities for the hospital’s women’s and children’s division, while assuming a larger role throughout nursing and patient care.
