Newly formed Indiana system names CFO

Elkhart (Ind.) General Hospital and Memorial Health System, South Bend, Ind., named Jeff Costello as the chief financial officer of their newly combined system, according to a news release.

Since 1995, Costello, 48, has served as CFO of Memorial Health. He joined Memorial in 1985.

The merger, first announced in March, involved 297-bed Elkhart General Healthcare System and 325-bed Memorial Hospital of South Bend. It became official in November. There was no exchange of money, and the new company has yet to be named.
