Methodist Dallas Medical Center was notified by the CMS that the hospital has been found to be in compliance with Medicare's conditions of participation,
according to a news release.
The findings, based on a survey by the Texas Department of State Health Services that concluded Nov. 8, follows notice in August that the 420-bed medical center
could lose its Medicare participation as a result of problems in its emergency and trauma departments.
In addition, the Joint Commission conducted an unannounced survey Sept. 6-9 and has awarded accreditation to the hospital through December 2014, according to Methodist Dallas.
