Steinberg named CEO of Weiss Memorial

Vanguard Health Systems of Nashville named Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg CEO of Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Steinberg, 51, replaces Frank Molinaro, who left Weiss to move to a Vanguard hospital in Phoenix. He'll start the new job on Sept. 30 at the 183-bed hospital on Chicago's north side.

A urological surgeon by training, Steinberg left St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Conn., where he served as senior vice president for health policy and disparity, and chairman and director of surgery.
