Dr. Donald Berwick discusses his job as CMS administrator, the rulemaking process under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the strides that hospitals have made in improving safety and quality, and the long way still to go, in an interview Sept. 14 in Nashville with Modern Healthcare reporter Vince Galloro. Berwick had a discussion with former Sen. Dr. Bill Frist during a luncheon earlier that day hosted by the Nashville Health Care Council.
