A new psychiatric hospital will be built in Las Vegas by Desert Parkway, according to a news release.
The release, issued by Los Angeles public relations firm Englander Knabe & Allen, said construction is expected to be finished in spring 2012, with the hospital opening that summer. No other details were provided.
According to public records, Desert Parkway filed for registration in Nevada in January 2010 as a limited liability company run by three managers, Soon K. Kim and P. Blair Stam, both of Corona, Calif., and Steven Lebowitz, of Beverly Hills, Calif.
According to the release, the managers "have extensive experience operating psychiatric hospitals in the United States." Harvey Englander, the contact listed on the news release, did not return a call before deadline seeking more information.
