Deborah Gage has been named president and CEO of MEDecision, a Wayne, Pa.-based developer and vendor of software and services for disease management and clinical decision support for payers and providers, according to a company news release.
Gage replaced David St. Clair, the company's founder and CEO. St. Clair will continue to serve on MEDecision's board of directors and as a consultant for the company during the transition period, according to the release.
Gage has held executive positions with several health IT companies, most recently working as president and CEO of GTESS, Dallas, which markets remote-hosted payment software for the health insurance carriers. Her age was unavailable at deadline.
