Miao named president of new Texas hospital

Texas Health Resources, Arlington, named Winjie Tang Miao president of a new hospital under construction in Fort Worth called Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance.

Miao, 32, currently is president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle, Texas. Miao will assume responsibilities for role at the new hospital immediately and will keep her responsibilities at the hospital in Azle until a replacement is hired and oriented, according to a news release.

In 2008, she was named a Modern Healthcare Up and Comer.The new hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2012.
