Stanley Black & Decker reached a definitive agreement to acquire InfoLogix, a healthcare mobile-device and consulting company, in a deal worth $61.2 million.
The deal amounts to $4.75 per common share and includes $22.1 million in debt, according to a news release announcing the deal. InfoLogix, Hatboro, Pa., will join New Britain, Conn.-based Stanley Black & Decker’s healthcare solutions business. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2011.
InfoLogix markets consulting services, mobile workstations, wireless networks, and radio-frequency identification and medication management products to healthcare providers.
