Andrea Price has been named president and CEO of a six-hospital regional health system in Ohio owned by Catholic Healthcare Partners, following her appointment one year ago as chief operating officer of the local system, Mercy.
Price, 51, replaces Steven Mickus, who was promoted to a role as system COO for 32-hospital Catholic Healthcare Partners, Cincinnati. Mickus also retains the title of CEO of CHP's northern division, an area that includes Mercy and several other local systems and hospitals.
Price came to Mercy as COO last fall following a job as executive vice president and COO for Sparrow Health System, Lansing, Mich. Price is also president-elect of the National Association of Health Services Executives.
