About this Webinar
Did you know there is a December 2010 GLN sunrise date for healthcare supply chain transactions to utilize standards that will increase patient safety while decreasing costs?
Today, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, suppliers, GPOs, hospitals & doctors
each record product information differently. These new standards will better ensure that all participants in the healthcare supply chain are able to
identify every product and facility in the same way.
If you're not sure what Global Location Numbers (GLN) and Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN) are, or whether you'll be able to transact business with vendors using GS1 Standards, then this webinar is for you. A key component of the webinar will be the rolling out of the GLN Progress Survey for Healthcare Providers.
Adoption of these standards will result in higher quality healthcare while reducing costs.
Moderator:
- Barbara Kirchheimer, former Modern Healthcare news editor and reporter
