This year, 80 nominations were received for the Trustee of the Year awards program, co-sponsored by executive search firm Witt/Kieffer. Nominations were accepted from Oct. 5 through Dec. 7, 2009. That total is up from 64 in last year's competition. Two winners were chosen, one in each category, large and small healthcare organizations—as well as honorable mentions in each category.
