Scholl named chief strategy officer at Texas Health Resources

Texas Health Resources, Arlington, has named Jonathan Scholl as executive vice president and chief strategy officer, effective in late February. Previously, Scholl, 48, led the North American healthcare provider practice at the Boston Consulting Group. Scholl will report to CEO Doug Hawthorne and lead the system's strategic planning and business development functions.

“Texas Health Resources is growing to keep up with the ever-increasing population of north Texas,” Hawthorne said in a written statement about Scholl's position. “Looking beyond the horizon and anticipating the future needs of our communities are vital and challenging tasks.

Jon will provide us with leadership perspectives based on his extensive experience working with major healthcare systems across the country.”

A U.S. Naval Academy graduate, Scholl earned his MBA from Harvard University.
