Modern Healthcare is inviting readers to submit nominations for the 2010 Health Care Hall of Fame induction. The program recognizes luminaries who have made outstanding contributions to healthcare nationally and internationally.
A panel of distinguished healthcare industry judges annually selects winners for this recognition. The judges will review the nominations using a set of 10 eligibility and award criteria. A list of the criteria can be found under the Awards & Honors section on the magazine's Web site, ModernHealthcare.com. Readers also can find past inductees in the special section of the March 23 issue of
Modern Healthcare or through the Awards & Honors section. Since 1988, a total of 85 healthcare executives and leaders have been inducted into the Health Care Hall of Fame.
Please send nominating letters and background information on the candidates to: Hall of Fame, c/o Neil McLaughlin, managing editor,
Modern Healthcare, 360 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601. The nomination deadline is Jan. 4, 2010. Inductees will be announced in February and profiled in the March 22, 2010 issue. They will be honored at a dinner held March 21, 2010, in conjunction with the American College of Healthcare Executives' annual congress in Chicago.
