Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas and his Tennessee counterpart, Phil Bredesen, will be meeting in South Burlington, Vt., to talk about information technology in healthcare.
The two governors are the co-chairs of the
State Alliance for e-Health.
They will be joined at the meeting by David Blumenthal, the national coordinator for health information technology.
Meeting topics include implementation of the Health Information Technology for the Economic and Clinical Health Act, or HITECH, which is part of the national recovery act.
