David Whiles, director of information services for Midland (Texas) Memorial Hospital, talks with Modern Healthcare and Health IT Strategist about working with Medsphere Systems Corp.’s OpenVista electronic health-record system. Whiles discusses implementation of the EHR system, as well as training the 217-bed hospital’s staff during the 2009 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s conference.
